Heidi Smith is the founder and principal designer of Flamingo Rodeo Interiors, where she leads both residential and commercial projects with a focus on creating spaces that feel collected, layered, and deeply personal. Her work is rooted in the belief that great design should not only be beautiful, but also livable — tailored to the way people truly move through and experience their spaces.

With a background that blends creative instinct and business acumen, Heidi brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every project. She works across a wide range of scopes, from smaller, focused updates to full-service design and project management, guiding clients seamlessly from initial concept through final installation. Whether designing a single room or overseeing an entire home or commercial space, her goal is always the same: to create environments that feel cohesive, intentional, and enduring.

A hallmark of her work is custom window treatments designed with both form and function in mind. Unlike traditional retail-driven approaches, Heidi approaches drapery and window coverings as an integral part of the overall design — thoughtfully considering scale, proportion, materials, and hardware to ensure a finished look that feels tailored and complete.

As a mother of two and a pet owner, Heidi understands firsthand how families truly use their homes.
